Michele Busse
Graphic Designer
Once Upon A Time…words that call us back to the storytelling of our childhood. Books and fairy tales took us on fantastic adventures and to magical places that awakened our imagination.
Like a book, graphic design must tell a story. It should convey a message, evoke an emotion, and immerse the viewer into the story. The difference is that the story is your brand.
My business card says Graphic Designer, but a better title would be storyteller. Combining typography, artwork, photographs and colors, I tell a story that informs, engages, delights, surprises, and impacts the viewer. I work with clients to produce high quality designs that fit a unique identity and meets business objectives.
In 2019, as a student, it was my privilege to work as an intern at The Printing Museum
in Houston, where I successfully updated their logo, redesigned their stationary, and created several brochures and large banners that were presented at ComicPalooza at The George R. Brown Convention Center. This work helped move the museum forward after a devastating fire and was awarded the 2020 Graphic Excellence Award for Graphic Design by The Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast.

I believe in the power of communication through visual art and enjoy solving design challenges through research, collaboration, and intuition. I tap into the world around me for inspiration and am very sensory in my approach to life, and use that to bring balance and wholeness in my design work.
